NO RULES WEEKEND BLOG PARTY #217!

Another week has come and gone...where
does the time go? Does everyone agree that the
older you become the faster time goes?

The saying "days are long, but the years are short"
certainly have begun to ring true for me. I know this
quote is directed towards the parenting years,
but I think it can apply to all of us.

We need to make the best of each day, and live
life to the fullest. There's no time to waste!
Make every moment count.

After my little ramble I can say it's now
time to share what you've been up to below!

Are you ready to find some new blogs to
read, and perhaps gain some new followers?

Or maybe you'd like to grow your social networks,
or make a sale or in your Etsy shop?
Come join the fun :)

The party normally runs from Thursday mornings
at 6 am US EST until 3 am US EST Monday.

If you follow me in any way  please leave
me a quick comment and I will follow
you back as soon as I can :)

If you'd like to display my party button on
your blog, just click on the "My Buttons"
tab on the right sidebar to access the code.

 Sharing helps direct more lovely
bloggers to the party, which in turn means
a chance of more traffic for all of us!

Let's party!

NO RULES WEEKEND BLOG PARTY #216!

We are now a few days into 2017 and the decorations
are packed away, and the snow that we did have
has disappeared. I'm pretty sure we will get more
snow this winter, and there's always something
to celebrate in my family so the fun will continue.

Last January I followed the trend with choosing
a word of the year that would be my mantra. I
really had good intentions to let this word guide
me, but that didn't turn out so well.

I should have known this would happen as I have
never been able to follow through with a New
Year's resolution, so this year my intentions
will be to just try to do the best I can with
everything I do.

Have you made a New Year's resolution or chosen
a word of the year? Leave me a comment and
share your thoughts on this!

Now it's time to share what you've been up to below!

Christmas Around the Globe

Christmas...a time for celebration. Food, family, fun, and gathering with those who hold the same values and beliefs. There are many different ways families, and those in other countries around the world, celebrate this joyous occasion.

But have you ever wondered how and where all the traditions we embrace each year began? Or maybe what those on the other side of the world do differently than you do during Christmas?

Personally I get so involved in what I have planned for my own family that I don't give much thought to what someone across the globe may be planning for their family, but this wonderful information I came by changed that.

Recently I was sent this interesting history of Christmas infographic to share with all of you. This infographic contains a bunch of facts that I never knew about the history of Christmas, and how others celebrate.

If you'd like to read more in depth on this subject you can visit the  link below which will bring you to a blog post from Tree Classics ---> History of Christmas.

I hope you found this information as interesting enjoyable as I did. Happy Holidays!

If you have time this weekend I still plan to have my No Rules Weekend Blog Party open! It will begin Thursday morning at 6am EST.
